Do I need council building approval for a shed in Gatton?

What are the boundary setback requirements for a shed?
All the Council areas vary in the setback they require from boundaries but general in an urban area your shed or carport needs to be 6m from the front boundary and 1.5m from the side and rear boundaries.
In rural areas these setbacks differ for each Council.

What wind rating does my shed need?

Do you use Australian steel?
Yes we source all our steel from BlueScope, Colorbond and Lysaght proud Australian companies.
Can you do everything for me?
At R & F Steel Buildings Gatton we offer the full service of building your shed. This includes the concrete slab, Standard Council Building Application, supply of materials and the constriction of your shed or carport.
You just need to provide us with a level site.
Do you use Contractors?
All our concrete and construction crews are employed by R & F Steel Buildings Gatton. This way we maintain quality and control over your shed or carport.
What colours are available for my shed?
We use the Colorbond Steel Shed Colour range which has 22 colours. This way you’ll be able to complement your home and your property’s surroundings.
