Wide, unobstructed access is essential when designing an aircraft hangar. R&F specialises in heavy-duty metal sliding door systems designed to provide generous openings for aeroplanes, helicopters and other large equipment.

Our top-hung sliding doors are designed for smooth operation by a single person, with doors that slide clear of the opening and stack outside the building footprint. Integrated with R&F’s welded and bolted portal frame system, they help make practical use of the available space in custom steel aircraft hangars.

A bottom-rolling metal sliding door system is also available where it better suits the building design or site requirements. Our team can help determine the appropriate door configuration based on the opening width, building layout and intended use.
