A Custom Wash Bay Built for Efficiency and Daily Use

For this project in Toowoomba, the client required a purpose-built facility to support high-volume vehicle cleaning and servicing operations. With constant vehicle movement and daily use, the structure needed to be durable, highly functional, and designed to streamline workflow — ensuring vehicles could be processed quickly, safely, and efficiently.

Practical Design for High-Use Commercial Environments

R & F Steel Buildings Toowoomba worked closely with the client to design a custom solution tailored to the operational demands of a busy commercial site.

The skillion roof design was selected to suit the site layout while providing effective water runoff and a clean, modern appearance. Internally, the structure was configured to support multiple work areas, allowing different stages of vehicle washing and preparation to occur simultaneously.

The open, accessible layout allows for easy vehicle entry and exit, while the durable steel construction ensures long-term performance in a wet, high-use environment. The skillion roof not only enhances the overall aesthetic but also contributes to practical drainage and usability on site.
