A Workshop Built for Someone Who Appreciates Quality

A great rural workshop should provide more than just shelter. It should be a space that makes it easier to enjoy your hobbies, work on projects and keep everything organised.

For Mick, the brief was to create a spacious and practical personal workshop with generous internal space, easy vehicle access and plenty of covered area. The result is a versatile space designed to accommodate hobbies, projects, vehicles and storage, with the flexibility to suit whatever comes next.

R&F’s Approach

Designed Around the Way Mick Works

R & F Steel Buildings Gatton worked closely with Mick to create a workshop suited to the way he wanted to use the space. Multiple large roller doors provide easy access for vehicles and equipment, while the generous internal clearance creates plenty of room to move. A substantial front awning adds valuable covered space, providing additional flexibility for projects, equipment and storage. The design focused on creating a building that was practical today while remaining versatile enough to adapt to whatever comes next.

The Solution

A Spacious Workshop Built for Versatility

The completed building delivers more than 480m² of functional covered space, combining a spacious enclosed workshop with a large covered front awning. Three oversized roller doors provide excellent access for vehicles and equipment, while roof insulation, natural ventilation and generous windows help create a brighter and more comfortable space. For Mick, the finished building provides the substantial, practical workshop he was looking for – a quality steel structure with the space and flexibility to suit life on a rural property.
