Project Overview

Practical Farm Infrastructure Backed by Decades of Experience

After more than 30 years of farming, the team at JMAC Farming knew exactly what they needed from a new shed — practicality, durability, and flexibility. The brief was to create a multi-purpose farm shed capable of supporting day-to-day farming operations, with large open-access areas for machinery and equipment, alongside enclosed sections to better protect trucks and essential assets from the elements.

R&F’s Approach

A Custom Layout Designed Around Workflow

R & F Warwick worked closely with the client to develop a shed layout tailored to the realities of modern farming operations.

The design combined a large central gable structure with a skillion extension, creating multiple functional zones within a single integrated build. Open-front access areas allow machinery to move efficiently in and out of the shed, while enclosed sections provide additional protection for trucks, tools, and equipment storage.

Careful consideration was also given to internal clearances and bay spacing to ensure the building could comfortably accommodate a range of agricultural vehicles and machinery.

The Solution

Flexible Storage with Open Access and Weather Protection

The completed structure delivers a highly functional farm shed built to support both storage efficiency and long-term durability.

The large open-front section provides easy access for machinery and day-to-day operations, while the enclosed areas create secure, weather-protected storage for trucks and valuable equipment. The addition of the left-hand skillion extension further enhances the building’s versatility, allowing different operational needs to be separated while still functioning as one cohesive workspace.

Designed for real-world agricultural use, the finished shed gives the client the flexibility to adapt and grow alongside the changing demands of the property.
